Take action on the Endangerment Finding

As you’ve likely heard, the EPA is moving to repeal the 2009 “Endangerment Finding”—the legal cornerstone that allows the federal government to regulate climate pollution. Without it, safeguards on emissions from cars, power plants, and industry will be dismantled. It’s one of the administration’s most radical—and legally risky—climate moves to date.

What can we do? We can make sure this does not happen quietly.

First, submit a public comment.

The EPA is required to read and address every unique comment—don’t make this rollback easy. Be sure to personalize your comment so it’s addressed separately!

Next, your urge state leaders to submit public comments.

An elected official’s voice carries serious weight in the public comment process — let’s get them to use it. Use our quick tool to send an email to your state legislator, governor, and member of Congress.

Finally, urge your local leaders to submit a comment.

Email your city officials using this playbook (script included or copy/paste your personalized email to state officials) urging them to also leverage their voice and submit a public comment.
